We said goodbye last week to Kevin's Jeep wrangler. Kevin has been debating whether or not to sell it for the last four months. A kid called last week and said that he wanted it so Kevin cleaned it out and fixed a few things that needed fixing and then said a teary (not really) goodbye.

It's hard to let an old friend go!
I hope you won't be to lost without it.
I'm sorry =( It's funny how hard it is to get rid of things, even cars! Matt & I have been thinking about getting rid of one of our cars too. We have 3 cars right now, and since I am a stay at home mom, the other 2 cars just sit in the parking lot most of the time.....
Thanks for the comment you left on my blog! You're such a sweet person! I love the poem you left! That's Mady for sure!
He's lucky he sold it. Scott (and work) was going to fill it full of tumble weeds. lol.
Good luck, Wrangler!
Heidi, I can send you an invite to my blog. Just email me at nesloeilatan@gmail.com, and I'll send you one. That way you won't have to use your mom's account!
It's hard to let go of things you've had for a long time!
dad and kevin can commiserate, the red truck just left us
I can relate. We had my GMC mini van for about 18 years--- using it for family transportation, our "Elf" Christmas tradition, and then as a "fruit wagon" for transporting fruit to the Farmers Market and delivering to stores. We finally let it go last year to a Resturant in SLC that wanted it really bad. It had seen better days and we were ready to upgrade. We still miss the old gal. She did a lot of work for us. We've got a new friend now that's not quite so tired and worn out. We're getting used to her, but it's still not quite the same!
By the way, if you want to come to my blog directly, just send me your email, too. Then you don't have to use your mom's account to visit my blog.
Funny how we form attachments to those kinds of things. For some of us though, our vehicle is our home away from home.
