When Will I Ever Get To Sleep Again?

Today we had a little birthday party for Kira (Yeah, she's 7!). But right before the party was supposed to start at 11:30 my neighbor across the street had their shed go up in flames. We had the whole neighborhood out trying to help in anyway they could until the fire department was able to come and get the blaze under control. The wind picked up right after the fire started and the fire spread through nearly the entire field that was next to their house. They would just get it under control when a gust of wind would whip the flames up again and it would carry the fire another 10 or 20 feet down the block. There were several houses that were really in danger of going up in flames. Very scary. Needless to say the party didn't start on time. But no one was hurt and nothing but the shed and field went up in flames thanks to how quickly some of the neighbors reacted.
Between birthday's for my girls and cake orders I've been a little crazy and haven't had time to Blog in the last two weeks.
This last week I had two birthday parties, 5 cakes in 6 days (check out my other blog here to see my latest cakes, or just visit my cake site and go to the gallery that is in my side bar) I have sharing time on Sunday and Achievement days on Monday. And that's only the beginning. Next week I have Meet the Masters at school (an art program sponsored by the PTA), 8 small birthday cakes, and 1 wedding cake for my cousin. And then its back to work at the flower shop to do my yearly May duty. (Plus a few wedding cakes sprinkled in between working.)
I am so excited that my cake business is finally taking off, but as of right now it's all happening on the grave yard shift which is leaving me pretty drained and a little fuzzy in my memory. I am so glad it's Easter Weekend with NO SCHOOL!!!!! Maybe I can catch up on some very much needed laundry. I haven't been able to keep up on it and sad to say I am probably a month behind. I'd post a picture of Mount St. Laundry, but I lost my camera when we went to the Draper temple open house so I'll just describe it for you.

In a dark and dangerous corner of the Anderson's house a terrible secret lies hidden. For those that are brave enough to learn the truth you must descend down the treacherous stairs that are littered with toys, wrappers and horrible DUST BUNNIES that lie in wait along the path, you will come to a room where vapors of mist spew forth into the congested hallway. As you step closer to discover what the cause of the mysterious coiling smoke could possibly be you find yourself facing the great Mount Saint Laundry. It is piled so high that the door to the dryer has completely disappeared beneath it's great mass. And the smell, oh the smell, not only do you smell month old dirty socks and underwear from a three year old just learning to go potty, but the pee trap is dry, sending a horrible stench worse than a dead dog through the entire house! Hurry turn around and run before it reaches out its filthy claws and tries to trap you in its clutches! Quick GET OUT BEFORE IT'S TO LATE!!!!

There is that a vivid enough picture for you? And can anyone please make me feel better with a story about any failings you have in your domestic responsibilities?
